Extreme metal, black metal at the core. France.

Why this exists

Putting out a record in the underground usually means finding four different people: someone to mix it, someone for the artwork, someone for the website, someone for press. Four quotes, four schedules, and none of them talking to each other.

Negurah does all of it. The same people who record and mix the album write the press kit, cut the layout, build the site and run the campaign.

We work in extreme metal. Black metal and everything around it is the core of what we do, and we also take death, doom, post-black and atmospheric records. Twenty years in this scene, on stage and behind the desk.

What you are hiring

Why Negurah

We make records ourselves

This is not a press office waiting for a finished album to arrive. We play, we tour, we produce, playing dates right now.

It shows in the practical decisions: which track to lead with, what angle a magazine will actually pick up, what a label expects to receive and when.

Extreme metal, not everything

The bigger metal PR firms have widened their catalogue over the years. Rock, indie, folk, country. Good business for them. It also means your record goes out from the same desk that pitched a blues album that morning.

We only take extreme metal. Most of the editors on our lists have reviewed our own records, in print and online, across Europe, UK, USA and South America.

No promises on coverage

Nobody can guarantee that a magazine will run your album, and anyone selling you placements is guessing.

What we commit to is the work itself: a press kit that holds up, a target list built for your record instead of pulled off a shelf, campaigns sent from an authenticated domain so the mail arrives, and follow-up that gets done rather than promised.

At the end you get a report. What went out, who opened it, what came back, and what got no answer.

What we do

Services

Take the whole release package, or one piece of it.

01

Press kits and EPKs

The first document a label, a promoter or an editor opens. Written in English, short enough to read in ninety seconds, built to survive being forwarded.

  • Full EPK plus a light version for cold outreach
  • Biography, angle, release narrative
  • Press release and one sheet
  • Label pitch deck
  • Assets packaged and named so nobody has to ask twice

02

Release campaigns

Planned backwards from release day and sent from a dedicated, authenticated domain, so the promos land in inboxes rather than spam folders.

  • Target list built for the record, not pulled off a shelf
  • Promo distribution and streaming links
  • Personalised pitches, then follow up
  • Premiere and exclusive placement outreach
  • Campaign report: sends, opens, replies, coverage

03

Social media and content

A release needs something going out for months, not one burst on release day and silence afterwards.

  • Publication calendar across the cycle
  • Post copy in the band’s own register
  • Visual variants: banners, stories, per date artwork
  • Short form video and lyric videos
  • YouTube channel setup and release handling
  • Paid post and story targeting

04

Tour press

Date announcements timed with the venues, local outreach along the route, and the listings everyone forgets to do.

  • Announcement and per date rollout
  • Local and regional press along the tour
  • Bandsintown, Songkick and event listings
  • Visual variants for every date

05

Websites

Built, hosted and handed over working. Not a template with your logo dropped into it.

  • Band, label and festival sites
  • Tour dates, releases, store links
  • Private press area for promos and assets

06

Artwork and layout

Print ready files to label spec: digipak, gatefold, booklet, vinyl. Eleven releases so far.

  • Album layout and packaging
  • Logos, banners and merch artwork
  • Promo photography through our partner

How it runs

The work

I

We listen to the record

Before anything else. The angle comes out of the music, not out of a template. If we are not the right people for it, we say so.

II

Scope and quote

What you need, when the record comes out, what the budget allows. Quoted per project. A campaign for a first demo and a campaign for a third album on a label are not the same job.

III

Material first

Press kit, assets, calendar, target list. Everything is built and approved by you before a single mail goes out.

IV

Campaign and follow up

Sent on schedule and followed up properly. You see what went out and to whom.

V

Report

Coverage collected and the numbers given straight, including what did not work. That part is worth knowing for the next record.

Häxen sold out its first CD pressing in under a month and went to repress. We ran the campaign, cut the layout and built the site.
